Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA)

We know that many young people are struggling with their mental health, with 1 in 10 experiencing a mental health issue at any one time. Because of this, the government has increased their recommendations for training for anyone working with children, whether that’s in a school, hospital, charity, social services or sports club. The only licensed provider for this training is Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA England), and I am a registered instructor for their courses.

This youth training is for anyone working with children aged 8-18 years and is a comprehensive 2-day course. For more information about the course, please take a look at the PDF below:

Adult Mental Health First Aid (Adult MHFA)

We are becoming more aware of the need to support our staff and colleagues with their mental health as well as thier physical health at work. This 2 day intensive training course provides an understanding of some key mental health conditions, explores effective communication and uses an anacronym to provide a framework on how to safely support adults in the workplace.

These courses can be delivered face-to-face or online. Online courses are a combination of individual learning and live online sessions.
